Alliance and the California Prosperity Project Co-Sponsor Ventura County Business Empowerment Forum

Alliance for Affordable Services feels it is important that members are provided opportunities to meet face-to-face with their elected officials to discuss the issues affecting their state and local community. On Monday evening, September 17, in Camarillo, California, a town hall style forum will be held with special guests California State Senator Tony Strickland, Assemblyman Jeff Gorell, and Los Angeles County Deputy District Attorney Todd Zink.

Alliance is proud to co-host the event with the California Prosperity Project so that Alliance and Chamber of Commerce members and their guests may hear from the speakers on California legislative updates and learn more about issues important to small businesses. Questions will be taken from the audience to continue the dialogue on taxes, regulatory burdens and the overall economic competitiveness of small business in today’s changing political landscape.

Admission is complimentary, but we encourage you to register now as space is limited.

WHY SHOULD I ATTEND?

No matter what your political beliefs are or how involved you’ve been in the past, you can benefit from this event. This event is not a fund raiser or a speech. This is your chance to ask questions and get information.
Alliance does not support specific legislators. We believe that it is important for our members to be informed about critical legislative issues that could impact you, your business and your family. We realize that you may agree or disagree with the opinions and ideas presented by legislators. However, it is important that you express your opinions and ask questions so your voice can be heard.

Space is limited so be sure to reserve your seat early!

Can’t Attend the Event? You Can Still Get Involved. If you can’t be with us in person and ask your question face-to-face, use this convenient form. Alliance will forward the questions to the guest speakers and the answers will be posted online after the event.
