Alliance Supports 2012 Small Business Contracting Reform Initiative
Small businesses are a key driver of our national economy and they need the ability to successfully compete in the procurement process for federal contracts. Alliance strongly supports the House Committee on Small Business in their efforts to improve government efficiency.
According to the Committee’s website, government contracting offers an opportunity to invest in small businesses and stimulate the economy. In fact, 65% of jobs created over the last 17 years were from small businesses.
On behalf of the more than 70,000 members of the Alliance for Affordable Services, President Paul H. Pevsner, M.D. voices the association’s support in a letter to U.S. Representative Sam Graves (R-MO).
