The Alliance for Affordable Services, in a partnership with Congressman Jeff Denham (R-CA) and the Turlock Chamber of Commerce, recently donated ten computers to the Turlock, California office of United Cerebral Palsy (UCP). These computers are for the use of participants who attend the UCP’s Technology Class day program. Learn more about the services UCP provides here .

During the visit at UCP, Congressman Denham commented, “I was honored to participate in the donation of new computers to United Cerebral Palsy in Turlock from the Alliance for Affordable Services and Turlock Chamber of Commerce. With the new software these computers can provide, some of their program participants may be able to communicate for the very first time. This donation will benefit UCP participants for years to come and I look forward to seeing the new learning opportunities these computers bring.”

Alliance has long supported the educational advancement of its members and their dependents with the Alliance Scholarship Program and the Career Education Grant Program. Now Alliance is adding their support toward enhancing the learning environments for programs across the United States whose focus is to promote the self-sufficiency and productivity of Americans with disabilities.

Additional coverage of the event was provided by the Turlock Journal .
